MassMicroelectronics, LLC has had a long history of providing quality RF and Microwave components and subassemblies. Its heritage and lineage goes as follows:
· Originally, MassMicroelectronics, LLC was part of Raytheon’s-Quincy Microelectronics Center which operated from the 1940’s to 1999 at their Quincy, MA facility.
· In 1999, Raytheon decided to divest both the Quincy operation as well as the Tucson, AZ facility to Imrex Microelectronics.
· Imrex Microelectronics set up Massmicroelectronics, LLC as a distributorship with two main subcontractors to build, test and ship hybrid products, primarily products used in missile electronics.
· In 2001, Dominion Capital acquired Imrex Microelectronics.
· In 2003, Dominion decides to sell parts of the hybrid business.
· In 2005, Commisceo Microelectronics, LLC acquires the remaining portion of the hybrid business from Dominion Capital.
· In 2006, Commisceo Microelectronics, LLC acquires AD-Micro-assembly. LLC
Since that time, MassMicrelectronics, LLC, has reinvested into the business and diversified into new markets and technical capabilities with a focus toward Process Controls in all facets of its business. With roots in the RF and Microwave hybrid products business, MassMicrelectronics, LLC has added design, testing, printed circuit board assembly; cable assembly and full box build capabilities to its range of services.
Of particular pride, is our work with small companies, where we partner up with these firms to provide early stage design and manufacturing services with the understanding and commitment that we will help get their ideas to a marketable product in return for a manufacturing, inventory and fulfillment commitment. In our Products Overview section are several examples of these relationships.
In the future, MassMicroelectronics will continue to be:
· A Customer Focused Organization
o From initial request to quote to final product/service delivery.
· A Process Control Organization that looks at each customer requirement in this manner
o Develop specific and unique process controls for each customer requirement.
